FUQUAY-VARINA, North Carolina (October 18, 2021) – Fidelity Bank is pleased to announce Samanthia Smith has joined Trust Company of North Carolina as a Senior Vice President and Wealth Management Development Officer. In her new position, Ms. Smith is responsible for developing customized and comprehensive financial plans for clients and their families, as well as managing existing relationships throughout the Bank’s footprint. Her office is located at the Fidelity Bank branch in Southern Pines on 985 Old US Highway 1.
Samanthia has twenty-five years of financial experience. Prior to joining Trust Company of North Carolina, she worked for BB&T as an Investment Counselor and Wealth Advisor. In addition to her financial background, Samanthia is active in the community. She is currently the Treasurer of AOS & Friends Care, a nonprofit dedicated to serving direct care needs and supporting programs and events for those affected by dementia.
Ms. Smith graduated from Campbell University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations.
