In December 2022, the Fidelity Bank wealth management team, Trust Company of North Carolina, volunteered with the Salvation Army of Wake County and completed safety checks on over 600 donated bicycles during their annual Angel Tree event.
The Trust Company of North Carolina team consists of Tim Britt, Chief Wealth Management Officer; Larry Allen, Senior Investment Strategist; Jason York, Wealth Management Development Officer; Samanthia Smith, Wealth Management Development Officer; Morgan McCullen, Fiduciary Officer; Ty Hoeksema, Investment Analyst; and James Wilson, Wealth Administration Specialist.
“We are honored to participate in the Salvation Army of Wake County’s Angel Tree event and helping Wake County families,” says Jason York, Wealth Management Business Development Officer and Salvation Army Advisory Board member, “Fidelity Bank is committed to giving back to the communities we serve, and we look forward to volunteering for this event each year.”
The Salvation Army hosts the Angel Tree event each Christmas season to support families in need by providing new clothes, toys, and bikes for hundreds of thousands of children around the country. Each angel represents a child or senior adult in the community and donors adopt the angels to help fulfill their Christmas wish list. The Wake County chapter of the Salvation Army participates in this program every year. To date, they have helped over 7,500 children in Wake County around the Christmas season.
